My Story

I began my journey into holistic health after experiencing my own health issues.
Every day felt hard — I struggled with low energy, persistent fatigue, menstrual issues, and weight gain. I found it difficult to get myself out of bed each morning and to fall asleep each night. I felt anxious, irritable, and couldn’t work out why I felt the way I did.
I was dismissed by doctors and told my blood tests were “fine” and that I was “healthy”.
I was desperate for answers — and I wasn’t going to stop until I found them.
So I took my health into my own hands and made healing my responsibility.
I transferred my degree into a Bachelor of Nutritional Medicine (from Nutrition and Dietetics) and researched and read consistently. What I learnt was truly remarkable.
I realised that feeling these ongoing symptoms is common, but certainly not normal.
It’s so important to look into and understand the root cause of disease — and our health should not be dismissed.
As a clinical nutritionist with lived experience of health issues, I empathise with and understand the healing process and what it takes to achieve optimal health status.
I know what it’s like to be dismissed.
I know what it feels like to have hormonal imbalances, gut issues, stress, an underactive thyroid, and nutritional deficiencies ignored.
But I hear you.

My Story

I began my journey into holistic health after experiencing my own health issues.

Dani

Founder, Nutritionist

A Clinical Nutritionist (BHSc) and a Master Personal Trainer with almost a decade in the industry, I’m passionate about getting to the root cause of things — with an interest in the gut, hormones, women’s health, and functional fitness.

I help to bridge the gap between holistic health and the fitness industry.

My passion lies within nutrition therapies — both holistic and western — and healing the body with food, the mind-body connection, and lifestyle changes. I believe in addressing health from the root cause. I believe food can be our medicine, and I like to focus on functional fitness training with both women and men, with a major focus on mindset (WHY we do what we do), self-love for our bodies, and empowerment. I’m a huge believer in life transformation beginning from the inside out — and becoming the best version of YOU.

My mission is to educate, support, and motivate women (and men!) to gain their power back, embrace their bodies, and improve their thoughts and relationships with themselves — including their relationship with food and overall quality of life. I am committed to helping others reach their goals and feel their best, whilst implementing safe and sustainable methods throughout their health and wellness journey.

I believe that sustainable results are achieved through lifestyle changes and SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Timely) based goals, without severely restricting yourself.

Over my time in the industry, each client that I meet holds a new story — like a blank canvas ready to be filled and painted into their destiny. My goal as a Health Practitioner and Coach is to listen, empathise, understand, and treat (or program) individually, according to that client’s needs and desired treatment outcome. My mission is to educate, help, and motivate people to gain their power back, improving their health, wellbeing, and physical bodies, and their relationships with themselves and food (and to be fit for life!)
